OPEN COURT KIDS
Inclusive tennis for bright, brilliant, and bouncing kids.
Our Open Court Kids program gives every child the chance to thrive on the court—at their own pace, in their own way. This specially designed tennis program is created for neurodivergent kids aged 6–17 who want to learn tennis, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive and understanding environment.
Led by Coach Heather, who brings hands-on experience with children and young people navigating ASD, ADHD, Tourette’s Syndrome, OCD, Anxiety, and Depression, this program is built with real understanding at its core. There’s no pressure to ‘perform’, and no expectation to mask or meet a certain standard. Instead, we provide instruction based on how each child sees and experiences the world—on any given day. Meltdowns, sensory needs, stimming, or silence—it’s all welcome here. No behaviour will ever be frowned upon.
🌟 What to Expect:
Small, consistent groups to foster familiarity and confidence. 6 players maximum.
Flexible coaching techniques tailored to individual needs
Clear, predictable session structures with visual prompts and gentle routines
Emphasis on movement, rhythm, and fun—not just competition
Opportunities for participation at every level—whether your child is new to tennis or ready to rally
Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay, support, or step back—whatever works best for your family.
🧠 Why "Open Court"?
Because the court is open to everyone. We believe in creating spaces where kids feel safe to try, free to play, and proud of who they are. No pressure. No one-size-fits-all. Just open hearts, open minds, and open courts.
