TERMS & CONDITIONS

Why We Have Terms and Conditions

At Match Point Tennis Academy, we put time, care, and planning into every lesson we deliver. Whether it’s a one-off private session or a full-term program, each lesson is thoughtfully prepared to suit the needs, goals, and development stage of each player.

Our terms and conditions exist to help us run lessons smoothly, fairly, and with the quality you expect. They allow us to manage coach time effectively, prepare sessions with confidence, and maintain a consistent experience for all players. When sessions are missed or changed at short notice, it impacts not just the coach but also the players before and after you.

By having clear guidelines around cancellations, rescheduling, and make-up lessons, we can focus on what matters most: delivering fun, high-quality coaching in a respectful and well-organised environment.

We reserve the right to update and change these conditions at any time, without warning.

1. Bookings & Payments

  • All bookings must be made through our online system.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

  • Spaces are limited and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • If a program is full, you’re welcome to join a waitlist.

2. Private Lessons (One-Off Sessions)

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ written notice is required to cancel or reschedule a private lesson.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the full lesson fee being forfeited.

  • Notice must be provided in writing via email or text directly to your coach.

3. Term-Based Programs

  • Players enrolled in a term-based program are eligible for one make-up lesson per term, offered at the discretion of Match Point Tennis Academy.

  • Make-up lessons are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Missed sessions beyond this allowance will not be credited or refunded.

  • Make-up lessons do not carry over to the following term.

4. Camps & School Holiday Programs

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance will receive a full refund (minus any booking fees).

  • Cancellations within 7 days of the start date are non-refundable unless a medical certificate is provided.

  • No refunds or credits are given for no-shows or partial attendance.

5. Weather Conditions

  • In the event of bad or unsafe weather, we will do our best to reschedule the affected session.

  • Where possible, indoor clubroom-based activities will be provided as a suitable alternative.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, a credit may be offered for future use.

6. Arrival, Behaviour & Conduct

  • Players must arrive on time, dressed appropriately, with a drink bottle and tennis shoes.

  • If a player arrives late, the session will not be extended—this ensures fairness to others.

  • We expect all players to behave respectfully and follow coach instructions at all times.

  • Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from a session without refund.

7. Health, Safety & Supervision

  • Parents or guardians must inform us of any relevant medical conditions or special needs.

  • If a player is unwell, we ask that they stay home to protect other participants.

  • Coaches are qualified, first aid certified, and police vetted.

  • Parents must ensure prompt pick-up and drop-off at scheduled times.

8. Photography & Promotion

  • Occasionally, we may take photos or videos during sessions for promotional use on our website or social media.

  • If you do not want your child to be photographed or filmed, please let us know in writing.

9. Program Changes

  • Match Point Tennis Academy reserves the right to adjust lesson times, formats, or locations if required for safety, learning, or logistics.

  • We may cancel or consolidate classes with low enrolment. In this case, you’ll be offered a refund or the option to transfer.

10. Acceptance

By booking a lesson, program, or camp with Match Point Tennis Academy, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
